Blackburn, a Tennessee Republican, spoke about the death of Qasem Soleimani, the Iranian general and head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ Quds Force, during a conference call with reporters Tuesday.

Blackburn added that Trump drew a red line and when Iran crossed it, he acted. She said U.S. economic sanctions on Iran are working and that the country’s economy is in “shambles.”
